You can check your IE version by clicking on "help", then select "about internet explorer". An alternative to Internet Explorer is Firefox by the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox is currently issuing version 3.5. To update your browser, you may have to have administrator rights to your computer. If you encounter this issue, check with your department/school's technology contact, they should be able to help. If not, contact the helpdesk at x6931 and tell them you are trying to update your browser. We have provided the links to the browser download pages at their respective manufacturers sites.
