University Police
  Reporting an Incident

Faculty, staff, students and visitors are encouraged to report criminal activity, suspected criminal activity, and all other emergencies directly to University Police. To report an incident, one can dial University Police at x5666 for emergencies or x5300 for non-emergencies. You can also press the button on the front of one of the nineteen call boxes located conspicuously around campus, and at any time, day or night, you may come directly to police headquarters located in the rear of Whipple Barn.

All emergency reports received by University Police will receive an immediate response. Priority responses will be given to crimes against persons and personal injuries.

To help canvass the entire Hampton University community, we also work closely with local, state, and federal agencies to investigate criminal activity.

The goal of the unit is to vigorously pursue and prosecute all criminal offenders to the fullest extent of the law.
