Need to get online? You’ve got options. Hampton University offers wired ethernet access from residence halls as well as wireless access from just about anywhere on campus. You can also connect to the HU network from off-campus.
The Academic Technology Mall (ATM), located on the 5th floor of the Harvey Library, provides computer needs for the University. Unless otherwise noted, regular hours of operation are:

The HU Computer Lab is equipped with the following:
- 52 Windows XP stations with Office 2007
- 2 Apple MacIntosh stations with Office 2008 and audio/video editing applications
- 3 HP black & white printers
- 1 HP color printer
- 1 HP scanner
- Headsets are available for your privacy

Student Help Desk
The CIT HelpDesk provides Hampton University’s computer users with computer account and desktop support, and serves as a point of contact for other CIT services. The HelpDesk handles license agreements, organization, and distribution of global software to the campus. The consulting services include quotes for departments buying Apple and Dell hardware, software evaluation, and limited license software quotes.
