Welcome!

The Hampton University Office of Admissions invites you to experience Hampton University for a day! Hampton University’s Open House will give you a preview of what we have to offer academically and culturally by having representatives from various areas on-hand to answer your questions and provide you with information and materials to ease your admission and transition. Just a few of the areas that will be on hand are:

Financial Aid (view the site)
to discuss award packages and answer general financial aid questions

Housing
to answer questions about first year and upper-class student housing

Academic faculty members and deans
will be available in each school and department to answer questions.
Prospective students are encouraged to visit their anticipated major, as well as any other areas of interest. They can also speak with current students and take a tour of the campus.

Campus Tours
Currently enrolled students will conduct tours around our beautiful campus. Wear comfortable shoes! Stay for the afternoon and cheer for the HU Pirate Football team as we host Southern Illinois at 1:00 p.m. For ticket prices and information call (757) 728-6828.

How to Register

You may register online.  The check-in process will be held in the Hampton University Student Center and will begin at 8:00 a.m. on November 21, 2009.
