  Admission Requirements for Re-Entering Students

Former students seeking re-entry must file an application with the Director of Admissions in the term of planned re-entry and follow the procedures enumerated below. All students applying for re-entry to the University must abide by the following:

  1. Submit an application for readmission by July 1 for the fall semester, December 1 for the spring semester.
  2. Provide the academic major, student affairs, and medical clearances;
  3. Provide a copy of the letter of disciplinary dismissal, if applicable;
  4. Provide a copy of transcripts of academic work completed at other institutions since their separation from Hampton University

Any student with more than three voluntary withdrawals (for reasons other than medical ones) during his or her tenure, or with two accademic dismissals is ineligible to apply for re-entry.
