Honors Visitation Weekend
Hampton University's Honors Visitation Weekend gives the best and brightest students across the country the opportunity to see HU through the eyes of an actual Hamptonian. This interactive four day, three night event is planned with the graduating high school senior in mind. These high school honor students have the opportunity to reside in residence halls and attend classes within their chosen field. A sporting event and other planned activities, including special events with the academic Deans and the university President, give these students a taste of what it will be like to attend Hampton. Attendance to this event is very competitive. Students with strong academic success and those who have exhibited high scores on the SAT or ACT will be considered to receive an invitation; because this is an invitation only event there is no on-line registration. For questions regarding this, you may email admissions@hamptonu.edu containing a subject line of Honors Visitation Weekend.

Following the fair, visitors are formally greeted by University Administrators during the Welcome Session. Campus tours follow the Welcome Session, during which our guests are escorted across our beautiful 254+ acre "Home by the Sea".
