Daily Tours

Daily Information Sessions & Tours
Monday- Friday: 9:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. (excludes holidays)

Family tours begin with a 30-minute Information Session conducted by an admissions counselor. The information session is immediately followed by a one hour walking tour of the campus led by our Student Recruitment Team. The campus tour generally includes passage through our 254+ acres and historical landmarks. The tour also includes entry into the Student Center, the library, the Memorial Chapel and several academic buildings upon request (not applicable for groups). For the safety and privacy of our students, walking tours will not go inside residence halls. Information sessions and campus tours originate at the Office of Admission, Whipple Barn. Family tours will begin Monday, September 17, 2012 for the 2012 - 2013 academic year.

To make a reservation for a weekday information session and tour, complete our online reservation form. We require at least seven business days advance notice when reserving your campus tour.

11:30 a.m. & 3:30 p.m. WALKING TOURS WITHOUT INFORMATION SESSION These walking campus tours are led by our Student Recruitment Team, Walking tours of the campus generally include passage through our 254+ acres and historical landmarks. Saturday Tours (Fall and Spring Only)

The Saturday tour begins with a 30-minute information session conducted by an admissions counselor. The information session is immediately followed by a one hour walking tour of the campus led by our Student Recruitment Team. Walking tours of the campus generally include passage through our 254+ acres and historical landmarks. The tour also includes entry into the Student Center, the library, and the Memorial Chapel. For the safety and privacy of our students, walking tours will not go inside residence halls.

Information sessions and campus tours usually originate at the Office of Admission located in, Whipple Barn. To allow for an easy start to your visit, please plan to arrive on campus at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the information session and tour you plan to attend. As walking tours usually last for 1 hour, we recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and attire appropriate for the weather. In case of light rain, walking tours are still given. Please pack a small umbrella for your trip. In case of a serious downpour, only the information session will be given.

Self Guided Tours

During times when Information Sessions and Tours are not available or when your schedule does not permit you to attend our sessions, self guided tours are available. This wonderful option allows you to tour the campus at your own pace.

During the 2012-2013 academic years, tours are not available on the following dates:

  • October 13, 15 - 19 Parents' Weekend/Midterm Exams
  • October 19 - 22; 27
  • November 15 - 17; 21 - 25 (Open House/Thanksgiving)
  • December 7 - January 13 (Winter Break)
  • March 4 - 8; 9 - 17 (Midterm Exams/Spring Break)
  • April 3-5 (High School Day)
  • April 25- 30 (Final Exams)
  • The Month of May
  • July 4, 22 - 31 (Independence Day/ Summer Exams)
  • The Month of August
