The Discover Program is a computer- generated career guidance and information system that opens up a world of possibilities to help people explore career options.
Research-based assessment of work-relevant interests, abilities, and job values help people explore career options that are a good match for them. The World-of-work Map shows how occupations are organized in a way that is valid and makes sense to the individual.
DISCOVER'S guidance process enables people to make good decisions about choosing a career and developing a plan to make it happen. The system offers comprehensive, current databases of information about occupations, majors, schools, scholarships, military options, and more. DISCOVER helps individuals develops good job-seeking skills effective resumes, cover letters and job applications.
Come to the Career Counseling and Planning Center for your password and username. Be sure to bring your Student ID. Alumni may use a membership card or verfication may be made through the Alumni Office. Requests for passwords may not be made by telephone. For more information, call 757-727-5331.
