Tomorrow’s Leaders…TODAY
The Middle School Component of ETS serves 6th, 7th, and 8th
grade students from the target area. The middle school component
meets twenty Saturdays during the program year for instruction
in math, English, reading and science.
Certified teachers provide instruction for these middle school
students. College students serve as tutors for individualized
assistance. Also, students attend guidance sessions that address
social issues, career exploration and cultural exposure. A breakfast
and lunch snack is provided.
The high school component serves 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders
from the target area. Tutorial assistance is available for high
school participants weekly during the academic year. Tutors are
available to provide individualized assistance for students.
Various workshops, seminars, trips and tours are sponsored throughout
the year.
Tutoring is available for clients preparing for the General
Equivalency Diploma (GED).
