Program participants are involved in two major student activity groups within Student Support Services, the Student Support Services Advisory Board and the Peer Mentor Program. The Advisory Board is responsible for submitting ideas for college and cultural tours and fundraisers for community service projects. The Peer Mentor Program assigns upper-class students to new incoming freshmen to help ease the transition to college life. Participants in the Student Support Services Program also participate in many community service activities; such as, providing Thanksgiving baskets for the less fortunate, sponsoring an annual clothing drive and participating in the Christmas Angel Tree project.
