Faculty E-mail Accounts

Building Assignments
Procedures for Requesting an E-mail Account

All requests should come from Department Heads or Deans. Please provide the following information with each request:

1. Faculty/Staff member’s first and last name typed out and the department.

2. The request can be sent via interoffice memo, or an e-mail sent to helpdesk@hamptonu.edu .

3. Once the ATM Help Desk has received the request, it is then routed to our e-mail administrator. When the e-mail account is created, a representative from the Help Desk will notify the department heads, via e-mail, that the account has been set up.

 

***All e-mail requests should be directed to the Hampton University's Help Desk . An e-mail account will be created within 24 hours of the request. ***

Issues  
Users need to explain in detail the error in which they are experiencing. Severe issues will have an approximate 48-hr response time.

Passwords

If you forget your password please call into the helpdesk at ext. 6931. Password issues will be resolved by 10 am that business day. All calls after 10 am will be resolved the next business day. There will be informative postings on the university web page to help in utilizing the Hampton University e-mail accounts. Faculty & Staff have a maximum storage space of 20 Mb.
