I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to our 2006-07 Academic Year at Hampton University. Each year, the Center for Information Technology (CIT) revises its Student Technology Guide to include all of the latest information regarding new and enhanced technologies on campus as well as the services provided by the Academic Technology Mall (ATM). The Guide also provides detailed information on hardware and software supported by the University’s network.

Please read this Guide carefully as each page contains a wealth of information. I strongly encourage you to check the Guide periodically for new updates.

Information Technology is one of the most important intellectual tools at Hampton. You cannot be casual about its use. You need to be an informed consumer of HU’s Network infrastructure in order to be successful in its use.
