Subject Databases

Is your topic in a particular subject area?  Which electronic database you use depends on your topic.

If so, use a subject database. Subject databases specialize in a particular subject, and the articles indexed are generally from scholarly sources. Examples of subject databases and the kinds of articles they identify are:

Business Source Complete has fulltext scholarly journal articles on business
CINAHL index of journals from the fields of nursing and allied health.
Westlaw Campus Research law reviews and journals, federal and state case law, full text of the United States Code Annotated (USCA), American Jurisprudence, American Law Reports,
