  • Bartleby.com -Internet publisher of literature, reference, and verse that provides access to full text poetry, fiction, and essays
  • Celebration of Women Writers - http://digital.library.upenn.edu/women/: "promotes awareness of the breadth and variety of women's writing" and contributions of women writers throughout histor
  • Eighteenth Century Studies - This collection archives works of the eighteenth century from the perspectives of literary and cultural studies. Novels, plays, memoirs, treatises and poems of the period are kept here (in some cases, influential texts from before 1700 or after 1800 as well), along with modern criticism.

  • PAL: Perspectives in American Literature - A Research and Reference Guide - an online version of the volume by Paul P. Reuben that provides carefully organized collection of resources covering over 300 years of American literature.
  • Romantic Chronology - useful site for information on the Romantic period in English Literature
  • Women and Gender Studies - provides access to a wide range of resources in support of Women's Studies
