The Executive Leadership Summit - Program Overview

The Annual Hampton University Executive Leadership Summit is the result of Dr. William R. Harvey's desire to pass the leadership torch to those who aspire to become college/university presidents or to assume other executive leadership positions. Since its inception in 2001, the Summit has endeavored to share the very best leadership principles and practices with those who have a burning passion to expand their leadership potential as well as to refresh and re-energize their leadership competencies.

The 2018 Hampton University Executive Leadership Summit offers yet another superb professional development program. This year, attendees can learn to become stronger, more impactful leaders. Dr. Harvey officially kicks off the Summit at the Opening Session with a keynote address. He will focus on his highly successful leadership model. Following Dr. Harvey, a cadre of experienced and respected leaders will engage participants in interactive sessions designed to give them first-hand experiences as to how one moves into, advances and survives in high-level leadership positions.

Summit participants will examine, discuss and exchange ideas about 21st Century leadership. They will have the opportunity to strategize, share best practices and network. They will also have opportunities to take guided tours of the historic Hampton University Museum and the World-Class Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute.
