His/her duty includes: (1) complete the analysis on the existing data that were taken by the JLab experiment (E12-17-003), “Determine the unknown Lambda-n interaction by investigate the possible Lambda-nn resonance” and (2) work on detector (drift chambers, Cherenkov counters, and scintillation timing counters) preparation for the next phase hypernuclear experiments at JLab.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate must have Ph.D. degree from experimental nuclear physics; familiar with experiments using electron beam from CEBAF at JLab; experienced in hypernuclear physics and electro-production of hypernuclei; has software knowledge in data analysis for JLab Hall A experiments and matrix optimization using the missing mass of electro-produced known hyperons and hypernuclear states; and skilled on detectors, such as drift chambers, Cherenkov counters, and scintillation hodoscopes.
