Description

The Retail Manager oversee the operations of a variety of retail food brands and/or concepts to include but not limited to, Chick-fil-A, Planet Smoothie, Pizza Hut Express, Starbucks, a convenience store, and more

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and control the units’ budget, aiming for outstanding customer service, minimum expenditure and overall efficiency

  • Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget

  • Taking inventory of food supplies and other consumables, ordering necessary supplies as needed, and receiving deliveries.

  • Accurately tallying all cash and charge slips.

  • Recruiting, training, and managing food service employees.

  • Scheduling employee work hours to ensure that all shifts are adequately covered.

  • Facility Cleanliness and Food Safety Standards. You will follow proper food handling techniques utilizing Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), ServSafe, and facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, assign tasks, accept instructions and handle vendor contracts, among other tasks

  • Strong computer literacy, to include Microsoft Office and a variety of software platforms

  • Minimum of 5 years in quick service / fast food restaurants

  • Minimum of 3 years prior food supervisory or management experience

  • Ability to work a rotational work schedule, to include nights, weekends and some Holidays

  • Familiarity with profit & loss statements and data analysis principles

  • Organization and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks

  • Leadership ability to manage challenges and oversee employees

  • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
