Description
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a wide range of clerical and administrative duties to support the General Manager, Office Manager and local management team and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
-
Support Office Manager and local unit management with their clerical and/or administrative needs
-
Receive and greet customers, guests, etc.
-
Ensure office is maintained in an orderly, professional manner
-
Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
-
Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
-
This position serves as the unit safety coordinator, and supports the General Manager with overall safety training, record-keeping and execution
-
Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
-
Perform “other” job related duties as assigned by management to achieve the established goals of the food service department and campus community
-
Assist with daily and weekly reporting, deposits, and audits
-
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Proven experience in an office setting
-
Knowledge of “back-office” computer systems and/or software
-
Ability to pass ServSafe, TIPS, and other food safety, alcohol safety and/or overall safety training classes
-
Excellent organizational and time management skills
-
Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficiency in MS Office
