Description
The Banquet Server may take food and beverage orders. Serves food and beverages to banquet guests. Being a Banquet Server typically reports to a supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cook dishes to business standards;
- Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submit to the Food Service Manager;
- Stock/restock items on line according to specifications;
- Cooks fresh or frozen vegetables using techniques such as boiling, steaming, baking, mashing and whipping;
- The grill, the fryer, and the meat fridge. Use them properly and keep them clean;
- Prepare and cook all menu items to Company standards;
- Cooking order according to food health and safety standards;
- Therapeutic food items are prepared when needed and are attractive and palatable;
- Cleans up after business hours;
- Maintain cleanliness of the work station.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills;
- Must be reliable, responsible, polite, groomed, and articulate;
- Responsible for the proper handling of all equipment;
- Knowledge of table service standards;
- High School Diploma or equivalent
