Description

The Receptionist main responsibility is to answer all incoming lines for the Registrar’s Office and transfer these calls to the appropriate person. This person also assist with opening, date stamping and distributing mail to the proper person. They will also assist with the receiving and checking in of grade sheets. This person also assist with students with any concerns they may have, issue necessary forms, assist with processing registrations, change of majors forms, change of permanent address forms and other duties that may be assigned by the Registrar.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Constant use of phone and computer skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills; to include the ability to effectively follow up and follow through.

  • Logging in and tracking daily documents and distribute them to the correct personnel in the office.

  • Other duties as assigned by Registrar.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required

Qualifications

  • Must provide great customer service.
  • Must have great communication skills and the ability to work with others.

  • Must be well organized.

  • Must have good computer skills.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications.
