Description
The Adminstrative Assistatnt for the Football office will provide secretarial and administrative support for all of the coaches within the Football office.
Duties and Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for all aspects of the Football office while maintaining confidentiality.

Maintain and schedule all meetings for Head Coach.

Prepare type letter, emails, reports, and memos.

Maintains a regular filing system for the Head Coach and the Football office.

Processes incoming correspondence for the department.

Orders and maintains office supplies as needed.

Responsible for initiating purchase orders, check requests, and travel advance request.

Handles incoming telephone lines, screens calls and forwards to appropriate department/person.

Assist student athletes with concerns and/or problems when appropriate.

Responsible for providing student-workers for the football office daily task.

Perform record- keeping and clerical functions (keyboarding, copying, faxing, answering telephones, etc.).

Be available to work promptly at 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED is required. Applicants should be proficient using office equipment, including computers, printers, copiers, scanners and typewriters. The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office software and email. Familiarity with the Banner software system is preferred.
Physical Demands:
Position requires sitting for prolonged periods of time at a desk/computer workstation.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Some college preferred

Secretarial, office and/or administration experience

Skilled in use of Microsoft Office Applications

Excellent communication skills

Organized, accurate, thorough and deadline focused
