Terpsichorean Dance Company Tryouts
The Hampton University Terpsichorean Dance Company is having student auditions 6 p.m., Sept. 30 in the Holland Hall Dance Studio.
The Terps perform various dance styles, including hip-hop and tap. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA to perform.
Founded in 1934 by Charles H. Williams, the company has developed a rich history as one of the first African American touring companies in America to perform in New York. In April, the group traveled to New York to perform at the Harlem Arts Center and take dance classes at the Broadway Dance Center
