The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Hampton University is a member-driven organization presenting non-credit courses to mature learners who want to improve skills, explore new ideas, and interact with interesting and active people.

  • Six-week courses offered Monday through Thursday

  • No exams, no homework, no credits
  • Taught by retired professors and professionals
  • Cost: $35 Membership Fee, $50 Registration Fee (includes three courses)

The goals of the OLLI at Hampton University are:  

  • To encourage and enable older adults to remain in the mainstream of society by offeing educational and cultural programs designed specifically to meet their needs and interests
  • To provide a setting in which these older adults are comfortable, welcomed, and encouraged to share their experience and expertise
  • To make these programs and services available to diverse communities of learners, with a focus on those 50 and over
